Information for parents/legal guardians

Motion-twin is a Cooperative Production Company created in 2001, inscribed in the Company register of Bordeaux (France, RCS 438602187) and dedicated to multimedia creation.

Motion-Twin is developer and publisher of online casual games (web in French).

In order to make its webs appeal to the greatest number of people, Motion-Twin always provides a friendly free entertainment.

However, Motion-Twin, as a company, must remunerate its employees and therefore provides optionally a payment part of its work.

As a creator of online communities, Motion-Twin provides, in some of its webs, means of communication for players to communicate with each other.

Section 1 – Payment Sections in the webs

1.1 - Presentation

Motion-Twin's web games are free. Users can enjoy playing for free every day. It is possible to speed up the progression of the game or of playing for a longer time. This possibility is available through payment. Players who make use of this possibility allows Motion-Twin to cover the running costs of this type of web pages.

1.2 - The different methods of payment

In the payment section, different means of payment are offered:

  • Payment by SMS+
  • Payment by Fixed phone
  • Payment by Bank Card
  • Payment by Paypal

1.3 - Payment by minors

At the moment of payment, Motion-Twin has no means of verifying the parental authorization required in this situation. Nowhere in our webs is a minor encouraged to make a payment without the permission of parents or legal guardians.

For this reason, parents or legal guardians are requested to pay special attention to the payment sections of our webs. We strongly recommend that parents or legal guardians make sure that their children do not use the payment section without express authorization. In other words, a minor is forbidden to make a payment without the direct authorization of his/her parents or legal guardians.

If you wish to control your children’s use of Internet, there is software of parental control which enable you to restrict access. In any case, the best solution is speaking to your children about the use they make of Internet.

1.4 - Responsibility

In spite of taking into account all these factors, Motion-Twin can not be held responsible for the use of our payment systems by minors without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We encourage parents to communicate with their children in order to become familiar with their methods of surfing on the Internet and thus avoid a possible unwanted electronic use.

1.5 - In the case of problems

If your child makes a payment to one of our webs, we can not return the money. However, in the case of payment by bank card, you can inform your bank that you refuse to pay.

We advise you to follow this procedure in order to recuperate the amount you have lost. For more information, click on this link: Payment in Motion-Twin Webs.

Section 2 - Forums and other means of communication

2.1 - Presentation

In some of Motion-Twin webs, it is possible to access to messenger zones and/or forums of discussion. These means of communication are used by both minors and adults.

2.2 - Recommendations

Some of Motion-Twin's means of communication are monitored by moderators who are responsible for this task. However, this does not always avoid the fact that minors may be exposed to certain dangers when they make new friends with other players. There is always a risk when the adult public mix with underage minors.

Motion-Twin does not have the means to verify that a minor has the parental consent which is required for access to this type of communication. We discourage the authorization of these means of communication if you are not with your child to supervise the use that the minor makes of the same.

In general, the best advice is to speak directly to your child to warn him/her of the possible dangers. At the end of this page, we provide some useful links which will help to increase your knowledge about children and means of communication in Internet.

Section 3 - Some advice
